Let me be the first to admit, I had to be dragged, kicking and screaming on to Facebook. You can imagine how hard I tried to resist Tweeting. I thought it was the dumbest thing ever. Why would anyone need to broadcast their every move? However, once I realized just how much my tweeting would enhance my business, (like Facebook has done) I quickly became a big supporter.

Tweeting is so much more than just frivolous updates every few minutes. Of course there are always going to be people who only use Twitter for that purpose, but this article is a MLM training tool for those who are looking to expand their social or business networks.

If Fortune 500 companies are on Twitter, you better believe it makes since for every self employed, small business owner to do likewise. Where else can you simultaneously connect with so many for free? Connect with thousands of current or future consumers / fans / friends / subscribers with one single post. (140 characters or less)

There are services you can use like: TweetAdder 3.0 that will find people for you to follow automatically. You can use keyword searches with or without geographic locations. For example, I’m an consultant for a premium anti-aging skin care, health and wellness company, so I might do an automatic search for people with the keyword “anti-aging” in their profile. Since our company is just beginning to go global, I would type in the locations that our company is already in. These searches continue on their own as I go about my life. At the moment TweetAdder cost about fifty five dollars. In my opinion well worth the price.

It’s important not to get too greedy with these search tools. You don’t want to set it up to follow a thousand people in one day, that would start to look like you were trying to spam. Nobody wants to see that, including Twitter. So set up your automatic following to a maximum of about 100 per day. You can also setup the time these automatic searches run. Again you don’t want to look like you’re using an automated system, so set it up to run during normal working hours.

Most people will follow you back, either automatically or if they are intrigued by your tweets or Twitter profile. So make it interesting. In just months you’ll be able to increase your twitter followers by the thousands. You’ll be able to set it up to automatically follow the people who are following you. You can also set it up to “un-follow” the people who stop following you.

It’s not enough to just accumulate followers; you must also be making a connection with them. Of course it may be impossible to connect with all of them, but if you’re making an honest effort to respond and connect; it will definitely be noticed and appreciated.

It’s still a social networking site, so make sure you’re not cramming your business opportunity or product down everyone’s throat every single tweet. You’ll be surprised how many wonderful new acquaintances you’ll have in just a matter of weeks. Over time, you’ll build up a meaningful relationship with your friends / fans / subscribers / consumers. That’s what it’s all about in the end.

Another great tool that has really helped me to not become too overwhelmed is, TweetDeck. This is a great free tool that allows you to do many things. My favorite is the ability to post updates simultaneously to Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn, and even my IMDB page. That saves so much time. For those days when you just don’t have time to check in with all your social sites. TweetDeck rocks. You can post to all or just one of the sites. You can also include photos or videos to your post. Perfect for posting without getting sucked into spending an hour on Facebook. (which we all know is easy to do.)

To Tweet or not to Tweet. Hopefully that question has been answered. Having thousands of people following you on Twitter can be a wonderful thing. What you do with that exposure is up to you.

That’s my two cents.

To your phenomenal success.

Avoid the rookie mistakes so many new network marketers make. Your success in your MLM opportunity rest in your ability to sponsor new successful consultants. The most important tool to aid in finding the right fit is often completely missed.

There’s this myth that successful people must have this great sales pitch in order to steadily sponsor new consultants. In reality, it’s the ability to connect with people by asking them questions then shutting up, and listening. Really listening. Not just waiting for them to stop talking so you can start babbling on about your brilliant opportunity. Not yet. Hold your horses and find out as much as you can about the person in front of you.

The rookie mistake that everyone makes, myself included, is trying to push your company on to people. We’re looking for someone that’s a fit. You’re not going to find them if you don’t ask the right questions.

Tell a little bit about yourself, then ask them, “What do you do?” No pitching.

What are their dreams, desires, and discontent? It is often someone who’s disappointed with their current situation that you’ll be able to offer them an alternative. Perhaps you have a means to make their dreams come true. Something you would not have found out if you had started rabbling before building a rapport.

Ask questions, show interest, and stay detached from the outcome. Don’t get too excited. It’s great to have a uplifting attitude, but we also want to control our enthusiasm. Continue asking questions, you don’t want to just jump in with your pitch.

After someone has expressed one of their dreams, you could ask another question like: “Is this something you think you’ll able to do?” Listen. If they say no, you can say something like: “I think I can help.” or “You should do what I do.”

Keep asking questions and figure out their mindset. What’s missing in their lives that you can help them fulfill? Ask questions. Listen. Repeat. I’m deliberately repeating those words. So many never learn this crucial task.

We can be listening all the time. Wherever we are, there are people who may be looking for our product/service/opportunity. It is by friendly conversations where you find out about people by genuinely asking them questions. Listening and asking another. We’re here to help people by offering them an alternative or addition to what they’re currently doing.

If it’s not an appropriate time for such a conversation, ask to meet up later for coffee. Sometimes the best thing you can do is just pique their curiosity. Stoke the fire. You want to draw the right sponsors to you. Not chase after them desperately.

71% of people that we come in contact with are unhappy with their careers. Most of us are taught to be employees. If you try to change their perspectives too quickly, they’re more inclined to say no. Open up their way of thinking gradually.

A crucial tip for sponsoring new consultants into your business. Present the part of your business that will benefit them the most personally. Not everyone wants to travel, or make six figures. Some people may not be able, nor have a desire to travel; so you wouldn’t want to first start talking about all the great trips abroad your company offers. Same with potential incomes. Someone might only be looking for a little extra spending money, and if you ramble on about the six figures your friends are making, you might scare them off. Know who you’re dealing with.

Truly believe in what we’re saying. We transfer our beliefs without even realizing. Become an expert in your field. You’re searching to sponsor into your business people who are dreamers. Those who are positive, deserving, ambitious, already successful, concerned about their children, or concerned about retirement.

Be resilient. It’s perfectly natural to hear “no.” Stay passionate. We are the brokers of HOPE. When we succeed, we inspire others to follow their dreams who might not have dared. We live as inspiration for those around us.

By learning to ask and listen, you’ll not only improve your sponsoring track record; you’ll also make some great connections in the process.

To your phenomenal success.

Like so many of you, I am bombarded daily with a wide variety of promotions. Most of which are lame offers I have no interest in. Yet, they continue to arrive at all hours of the day or night. I was not looking for anything whatsoever to add to my already hectic adventures. A friend showed me a opportunity that would not cost me a single penny. EVER. When’s the last time you heard that? John Milanoski founder of The Customer Advantage; a program that is designed to help small businesses all throughout the country.

It’s a brilliant variation on Groupon and LivingSocial, only it rewards those who refer others to join with a 5% commission. Imagine that. Pay nothing, and have the potential to make either a little extra cash, or turn this into a business and create your own salary. Here’s a brief explanation of how it works.

Remember, you pay for nothing and still receive from everyone you enroll, a 5% commission for every single coupon purchased. Each day members will be getting offers for products or services from businesses in their local area at a substantially discounted rate, (usually 50% or higher). When they see something that they like, they’ll simply purchase the coupon; and whoever they signed up under will receive their 5% commission. This continues for 5 (five) tiers down. If you enroll a business you will receive 2% commissions on all sales made through The Customer Advantage.

The expression “win win” is used way too often, but in this case it really does apply. You have absolutely NOTHING to lose, and an infinite amount of commissions to gain. Small businesses get to advertise their services for free to the consumers in their local area, and see their profits explode.

This business model is currently already working in other service areas. The Customer Advantage is currently in its Beta stage as we gather and enroll more businesses and consumers. We will be launching soon, so I encourage you to take a closer look at this free opportunity and share it with your list of contacts. It’s the easiest way to raise money for your personal life, school, or non-profit organization. The commissions could go on for generations, so get in early and reserve your spot today.

Head over to my site now and sign up for free. There you’ll find even more information; including videos and introduction by the founder John Milanoski.

With the internet all buzzing about the hot shot entrepreneur, it was time to find out more about this man. What I discovered was shocking. Read this article to find out some interesting facts about this Gary Vaynerchuk fellow.

There seems to be quite a buzz around the internet about the entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk. So like any good upwardly bound business man, I felt the need to do my own investigation. What I found was shocking. So much so that I felt compelled to write about it. This is the first time I’ve written about any one individual on my blog.

Here’s an extremely brief summary of his beginnings. In 1999 he took over managing his family’s New Jersey wine shop business, and took it from a three million dollar a year company to a ten million dollar company. Over the next five years up to a sixty million dollar a year business. He accomplished that right out of college. He is the online host of the wildly popular Wine Library TV, Author of ‘Crush It’ and ‘The Thank You Economy.’ Gary has been featured in a variety of platforms: The Wall Street Journal, GQ, Time, Conan OBrien and Ellen.

There have been many good business teachers I’ve had to pleasure to learn from over the years. Usually with a message that’s pretty much the same as the one before. Hearing Gary Vaynerchuk lecture is really a treat. Like listening to a fun and exciting man of the cloth, or politician; who just happens to swear freely without embarrassment or remorse. This guy tells it like it is better than any speaker I’ve ever listened to. @Garyvee (twitter) is a brilliant entrepreneur in ever sense of the word. He decided to build something that could never be taken away. His “Personal Brand.” I apologize that my writing skills will in no way come close to the excitement and energy he commands. Do yourself a favor and check out this superstar whenever you’re blessed with the chance. You will learn more in forty five minutes than you would in a full weekend seminar of “marketing gurus.”

He’s now one of the hottest media giants on the planet with his own media empire. His monstrous schedule also includes lecturing worldwide. Just google his name. There’s a ton of stuff out there if you want to know more about his divers accomplishments. His goal is to one day own the New York Jets. An accomplishment he will someday, without a doubt achieve.

A couple of weeks ago in Los Angeles, before rushing off to catch a flight to Belgium; the Screen Actors Guild somehow managed to wrangle up the globetrotting superstar for an unforgettable forty five minute lecture/sermon that was also streamed live on the web. This article is composed of quotes from that lecture, plus information stolen, or should I say borrowed from his various internet sites.

How do you get a business to explode?

“The same in any country. You go directly at the people who are the buyers. It’s effort right? How do you do it? You send emails or try to find people that you know that have relationships with the people you’re trying to get to; and you stay up till three in the morning and you email them all. I mean it’s hard work, but the answer; once you understand who you’re getting to, who your end consumer is. No matter if you have a start up iphone app, or you’re an agency or CEO’s.” [ or actor, singer, writer, composer, etc.]

“Whoever your client is, you should be obsessed. Obsessed 24/7, 365, with trying to get to them and telling them your story. All the other bullsh*# is horse sh*#. You just need to get to the person you’re trying to tell your story to, and whatever way you can get that: whether that’s hitting them up on their facebook page, or twitter.

“It’s never been more easy to get to people than it is today. So there should be no excuse not being able to communicate. Now your product HAS to be good. I think that’s the thing most people need to pay attention to. Content is King. I’m blown away with how many people are blown away with marketing or social media when their product is sh*#. If you make a wine and it taste like garbage, you could have a billion twitter followers. You’re not going to win.”

Should every company by engaging in social network?

“I think it’s the biggest opportunity brands have ever had. For the first time brands don’t have to rely on gatekeepers to tell their story. It’s an enormous opportunity. In the past the most successful people were the ones with the best slick presentations. The best keynote speakers. Now the new trend is going to favor those with the social skills to work a cocktail party.

“Social media is not a necessity, but it’s one of the greatest opportunities of all times. Why would you not want to engage with the people who actually buy your sh*#? Mainly because you don’t believe in the sh*# you’re selling, is usually the answer.

“I don’t think any business has been built on the foundation of really giving, and then learning how to monetize. I think the golden study in the US is Zappos. It was much bigger than social media. Their culture was built on customer service. I believe that’s what social really is at the end of the day. A real opportunity to create context and relationship.”

Vayerchuk feels that people using social media are usually trying to “close” too fast. You want to build relationships with the people you meet online. It’s acceptable to jump into a online twitter or facebook conversation as long as you’re not cramming your product or opportunity down anyone’s throat. Leave comments that add value to the conversation. Whether that’s providing an answer to what they were looking for, or sharing a laugh. You are building personal relationships online, that may or may not in time become a business relationship.

“You don’t need to sell to somebody on the first date…I just want to build community.”

You have to interact with your fan base. He spends more of his time responding to other people’s tweets, than promoting his product or opportunity. Of course every now and then a business promotion it’s perfectly excepted and expected. Gary thinks that you should spend less time promoting your greatness, and more time just simply interacting with your community.

“People don’t care enough about the people they’re trying to sell to. Consumers are bombarded day and night with ads for everything under the sun. The only thing that will break through, is genuinely caring. Listening to what they’re saying, and helping them. Humanization of a brand is massively important”

What shortcuts can you take to achieve success?

“I think effort is grossly underestimated in general. It’s not talked about enough.

“If you’re a true entrepreneur…I firmly believe that everyone in this room, and everyone watching on Ustream, and 99% of our society spends way too much time trying to be better at the things they’re not. I probably do 99% of the world’s deeds poorly. There’s about four to six things I do well, and all I really ever do is really focus on that.

“If you’re a real entrepreneur, never apologize. Not to your parents. Not to society. Execute on who you are.

“If you know what you’re naturally good at, execute harder against that. There’s no question in my mind, that’s your biggest advantage in being successful; because it’s naturally already in you. Execute against that sh*#.”

“It’s important to pay attention to the trends, and keep in mind it’s not about you, it’s about the audience. It’s important to create great content, but you also have to create community.

Go to platforms where people are talking and answer them. Start having real conversations.

“It’s a crap load of hard work.” 99% of the people don’t want to work that hard.

So twitter and facebook really are important to get ahead in today’s market?

“Recognize that these are the ultimate weapons, and ultimate good thing in this room’s world. Because if it were just the way it use to be, the gatekeeper would be the only one deciding who gets an “at bat.” What these vehicles have done is given everyone the possibility to get their “at bat.” They may not hit it [or Crush it], but at least they have the opportunity. It’s a massive level playing field.”

The internet is HUGE. Its overturning governments, and it’s certainly capable of changing the way businesses do business. Thanks to Gary’s great leadership and guidance; Fortune 500 companies to home based MLM entrepreneurs just starting their journey, now have a clearer shot to hit the ball out o the park.

That’s my two cents.

To your phenomenal success.

It's amazing how many people ignore their largest organ. What we put on our skin is immediately absorbed.

Let me state right off the bat, that my review of the Arbonne skin care line is completely biased. It would be misleading for me to state otherwise. When I endorse a MLM company or product, it is important that I love the product more than the business opportunity. Blessed with a successful dream career, (television actor and vocalist), I could never ask a friend or loved one to spend their hard earned cash purchasing a product just so that I could make a buck. That would create such negative karma. I’m often recommending all sorts of products to friends, and I could care less if I ever make a dime selling a single Arbonne product. I am hooked on their excellence. The Arbonne skin care line, in my opinion, is exceptional.

I’ve been chasing after great skin my whole adult life. Once I started making it as an actor in Los Angeles, I was finally able to afford many of the various top premium skin care products. Spent a lot of money. Would probably still be at a Sephora cosmetics store right now trying yet another line, if I hadn’t been offered some Arbonne samples. My skin has improved a great deal after only months.

My results: elimination of the dark circles and puffiness under my eyes, disappearance of acne and skin discoloration (from ingrown hairs and acne), removal of lines and crows feet, the softest skin imaginable from my head to my toes. Cracked heels as well as dry ashy knees and elbows are a thing of the past. Seriously, feel free to touch me next time you see me. LOL

Since I’m experiencing first hand the many benefits of botanical based Arbonne products for myself, it would be selfish of me not to share this life/skin changing opportunity with you. Though I’m a blissfully happy consumer before consultant, there are many in my upline who are kicking some serious butt in generating five and six figure incomes as Arbonne Consultants. As a matter of fact, my upline is the most successful of ALL the Arbonne uplines worldwide. Part of Sue Cassidy’s team – wife of David Cassidy (Partridge Family)

Arbonne premium skin care products are formulated in Switzerland. Botanically based, pH correct, hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, never tested on animals, formulated without animal products or by-products, certified Vegan, formulated without mineral oil, formulated without dyes or chemical fragrances, formulated without parabens, parrafin, or bleaching agents. That’s pretty awesome. You may want to read that again.

Whether you’re looking for:

1) A healthy skin care regimen for you and your entire family.

2) A means to knock ten to fifteen years off your appearance.

3) MLM training tools to become yet another one of Arbonne’s six figure income earners.

You owe it to yourself to take a closer look at Arbonne.

This summer is without a doubt, one of the most brutal financial attacks many have had to endure in years. So many in America, (as well as globally) are struggling trying to make ends meet. It’s affecting employers, employees, and those looking for employment. Recently CNNmoney.com reported that our current recession has “killed off 7.9 million jobs.” They predict that most of those jobs will never return.

In these uncertain financial times, one really needs a Plan B even if it’s just part time. Perhaps a supplemental income to help pay for a needed vacation, new car, home repairs, medical bills, retirement, etc.

Humans are living longer lives and retiring at older ages. In addition, 150,000 people each month are reaching the national working-age. It’s estimated that it would take generating 10.6 million jobs today to equal the percentage of people working just 3 years ago.

There is however a a bright spot for MLM (multi-level marketing) companies during this recession. Many home base network marketing companies our experiencing both profits in sales, as well as record breaking new recruits. Entrepreneurs are looking to create their own success story with the help of a Plan B.

Now though it may sound like the dream situation, Network Marketing isn’t for everyone. Though anyone can try, it’s takes a certain type of personality to achieve financial success without being told each day what to do. That’s now meant to insult; it’s just that some people prefer the familiar comfort of having a job. The problem there is that it may just be a false sense of security. If a company starts laying off employees, how long would that feeling of security last? Unless you’re at the top of your company’s food chain, it may be a detrimental mistake putting all your eggs in one basket.

I would recommend to those considering a MLM company, to endorse a service or product that you would purchase even if you weren’t a consultant for the company. Fortunately there are opportunities in just about every genre: nutrition, cosmetic, gold, silver, coffee, groceries, travel, law, music, fitness, even hemp. Interesting side note: several years ago, Woody Harrelson gave me a sweater made of hemp. It was extremely comfortable, and the first time I had ever worn a hemp product. What does that have to do with this topic? Nada, just name dropping. Seriously, just emphasizing that there’s an opportunity out there for everyone. If this is something that you want to investigate, you’re sure to find one that piques your curiosity.

Another thing to consider when joining a MLM, and for some, the most important: working with people that you enjoy being with. When you have an upline and/or downline made up of fun, intelligent, loving, supportive, positive, and ambitious friends, your chances of success are greatly increased. It really does take a village to generate a successful six figure network marketing career. These relationships that are built and nurtured over time will become some of your most cherished as you and your team build your successful businesses.

Be aware that there are always going to be new companies launching daily around the world. I would suggest that you stay clear of a company that has no proven successful track record, unless you’re a serious hardcore gambler; or you have already built up a team or enough fans that will follow you wherever you go.

It’s hard out there for a pimp, temp, wimp and emp. (pop culture reference)

Thankfully there are even more options out there than you may have ever realized.

That’s my two cents. Whether you’re looking for a Plan A, B or C, I wish you phenomenal success.

How many times have you heard someone rich say, “Oh I don’t have Oprah money.” That always makes me laugh. (since when does 20 million not make you rich?) Never mind keeping up with the Jones’, now we have to try and keep up with Ms. Winfrey. Yeah right! Besides, in my opinion, success is so much more than trying to acquire ridiculously large sums of money. Nothing wrong with having the ambitions, but for me personally, obtaining “Oprah Money” is not my primary emphasis in life.

“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” - Herman Cain

It is such a gift to love what you do for a living. Something that we all have the capability to experience. When we’re able to stay still and quiet enough to ask ourselves what is it that gives us the most joy. What are some of the things that we’re passionate about , that could also be incorporated into a means to generate an income. You may or may not be able to step right into your dream career, but there are steps you can take to help you head in the right direction.

There are no doubt many out there who are completely miserable serving a life sentence in a job that they hate. I know for some, even the word “hate” is too mild. Years ago I did a lot of temp work in offices around Los Angeles before my career took off. I could see so many dear sweet people who felt trapped in a world they wanted no part of. You could see their light just fading away as they marked off the years till their retirements. Fortunately, I also worked in offices with people who absolutely enjoyed coming to work each day. Offices where the camaraderie made you look forward to coming back.

In most cases, I actually think people would be much better off leaving a bitterly stressful job that they greatly despise; for a less paying career in something that gave them a sense of pride and joy. I’m very well aware of the fact that that is easier said than done. One has to weigh the pros of the bigger check with the many cons that can have disastrous affects on your physical quality of life: high blood pressure, anxiety attacks, heart attacks, strokes, depression, insomnia. Even LIFE itself.

Often the best thing we can do for our sanity, is ”just say no.” Enough. If the life that you’re living is not even close to what you wanted your life to be, you can give yourself a Do Over. Remember that as a kid? If a game wasn’t going the way you wanted, you could just yell, “do over” and get another turn. LOL Okay, maybe it wasn’t the best example of fair play, but nonetheless, as an adult you get to say it whenever you want. Even if it’s just for a temporary basis. It’s Your Life after all. You get to have as many chapters and adventures as it takes to get to the happy climax.

Don’t be afraid to step out of an old hated routine, when there are countless new opportunities waiting to be had. Take the time to really check-in with your inner being. Give yourself a serious evaluation. Sometimes we have to delete some of the parts that have been holding us back in order to make room for our new upgrades.

Maybe consider finding a part time weekend job or volunteering in an area you were once, or are still passionate about. Use your imagination and don’t be afraid to think outside the box.

Money doesn’t make you happy; so find out what does, and go after it. Then you’ll be on your way to experiencing true success.

I certainly don’t want to give the impression that I’m some sort of monk or saint that doesn’t like material things. I’m a guy. We love our toys. I love my pretty Mercedes, but I love even more the fact that I acquired all of my possessions doing what I love. I know what it’s like to walk away from a sure thing that you hate, to go after a dream.

My hope is for you to always go for your dreams; and in doing so, find true happiness.

To your unwavering success.

In this exciting age of instant gratification, we as a society have gotten so spoiled. We want everything all wrapped up nicely and delivered to our front door within hours. I had to laugh at myself the other night, (quite the regular occurrence). Came home starving after running some errands, and threw a frozen dinner into the microwave. When I realized this particular meal required a whole eight minutes instead of five like I thought, I actually put it back in the freezer and grabbed something else. God forbid I wait three additional minutes for a hot delicious meal. Yes, I too am a work in progress. I know, all of you that know me are thinking, “Duh!”

Whenever I see someone promising unrealistic meteoric success, it makes me so angry. As if our industry didn’t have enough obstacles to overcome.

“If something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.” Remember that? Well don’t you forget it, because you’ll see countless stupid claims promising one thing or another on the internet.

When I first arrived in Los Angeles back in 1987 with my full head of hair, 32 inch waist, and BFA degree in theatre / voice from Stephens College; I just knew I was going to be successful. Couldn’t wait to be a working actor and singer. Went on many auditions and started getting many callbacks, but was not having any success booking any TV commercials or shows. That was Not the plan. So I had to make some adjustments, and fast. It became apparent that maybe there was more I needed to learn in order to be successful. I had a great foundation, but I needed more training tools to produce the results that I knew deep down, I was capable of achieving.

Thankfully, I didn’t have all my eggs in one basket, and found a variety of ways to generate an income while still staying focused on my primary objectives. By keeping my options open, and being trained in several fields, I was blessed with an ever changing adventurous life, while still heading in the right direction. Even some of the full time jobs where I was working 40 hour weeks, where ALWAYS just a temp job in my mind. I never once lost site on what my true mission was.

“If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep walking.” Buddhist saying

Well guess what? My ability to hang in there through some crazy rough times, made me stronger. In 2002 after years of unwavering dedication and focus, mixed with a bit of frustration (I’m not going to lie), I finally booked and filmed my first union (SAG) job on the #1 comedy at the time, Everybody Loves

Raymond. Now in 2010 I have starred in over four dozen National TV commercials , dramas, comedies, and films. Toured around Europe for years singing with Sting and/or Vinx, and currently perform with the acclaimed LA Master Chorale & LA Philharmonic. I say this not to brag, but to emphasize that things that are worth something to you, may take time to achieve. It’s normal to get off course from time to time if you’re thrown a curve ball. That’s just life. Doesn’t mean we have to give up on our true passions.

“Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway: we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use.” - Earl Nightingale

Perseverance and great training in network marketing is what separates the successful from the quitters. Don’t be afraid to roll your sleeves up and do the work required to reach your dreams. Even if it takes you longer than you dreamt.

Though very blessed and grateful, I still feel like this is only the beginning.

That’s my two cents. To all of you, whatever your dreams are; I wish you phenomenal success.

One of the most important MLM training tools you can learn, is knowing how to identify and convincingly talk with the four different personality types. Read this article to find out how to maximize your income opportunities.

Heres a MLM Training Tool to Help You Decide Photo" alt="Is One Persons Color Better Than Another? Heres a MLM Training Tool to Help You Decide" />

When I was a teenager growing up in Kansas City, I had friends from just about every clique in high school. It wasn’t anything I had deliberately set out to do, it just happened over time. Subconsciously I would sum up a group or individual and find out what color they were, and then respond accordingly. Now it is true that each one is equal, but let’s be honest, each color reacts differently to situations, and we need to be aware and prepared.

Knowing your red ones, from your yellow ones can really be a plus. Personally, I’m most comfortable with my own blue types, though green is also a vital part of the whole picture. Actually each color represents the four basic personality types. (What? That wasn’t misleading) Red and Yellow, Green and Blue, these four colors work for you, as you make your healthy fortune round the world.

It’s important to know a little something about these four personality types in all walks of life; but especially those of us in network marketing, sales, or anyone who would like to be able to have some training tools up their sleeve that will assist them in “influencing” their customers, clients, students, or let’s be honest, even Spouses. There, I said it. If we are going to succeed in a business where people are the most important aspect, it makes sense to learn as much as we can about how people think.

Colors, animal types, seasons, earth elements, whatever symbol works for you, it’s all the same. For this piece, I’m using the four colors: red, green, yellow and blue. Now of course, we all will have characteristics from each of the sixteen personality types, but for now we’re going to just cover the very basic four. Now I’m not a real doctor, but I play one on TV, so if you want to learn more about this exciting topic, do your research. My intention is to just introduce the concept to some of you.

In time you’ll be able to identify the colors rather quickly. Let’s start with RED.

RED

Ah yes, the red ones. Three words: Money, Finance, Power. They like the big flashy houses, and drive the expensive red cars. They tend to like their diamonds big. Rolexes, and all the fun high end bling bling toys. I guess you could say a bit materialistic. Reds have very decisive, take charge personalities. They love to set goals and achieve them. They are motivated by a challenge. So when you’re talking to a RED, you need to talk about the comp plan, and the great lifestyle you can offer them. Just know though, that they can be very impatient, so get to the point fast. Don’t waste their time going over every single detail or you’ll lose their attention. They may even think they’re superior and talk over your head, if you act or speak slowly. So talk fast. Good chance they might show up late to your meeting. (They’re just so darn important after all. Places to go, people to see).

GREEN

Now the greens on the other hand, are a completely different story. Their three words might be: Organized, Logical, Unemotional. This is a more conservative bunch. Very detail oriented so with them it’s okay to talk slowly. They like documentation, so you can show them your brochures with the charts and magazine articles. They hate chaos, and will ask a lot of questions. They have been known to drive Volvos. (I’m just saying…) They will however show up to your meeting on time.

YELLOW

Thank God for our yellow ones. Their three words: Humanitarian, Earthy, Emotion. These are the people whose main goal is helping others. They will need to feel an emotional level in order to create a connection. The women are not going to have on a lot of makeup, or wear high heels. Yellows are motivated by fairness and equality for all. You want to talk about the great humanitarian work that your company is doing, not the compensation plan. They are most definitely driving hybrids. Lots of yellow Prius drivers out there. They are blessed by helping others.

BLUE

Last but not least we have the blues. Three words to describe them might be: Immediate, Emotional, Fun. You seriously want to emphasis all the great fun your team is having, when talking with blues. Highly emotional. Life of the party. Love to be the center of attention, but only because it makes others so happy. LOL. Blues love to shop, but when they see something they want, they want it now. They like jewelry. Love fun adventures. Some have tried many different careers. They inspire others. They also attract a lot of people because of their contagious energy. In some cases more concerned about popularity, than winning results. They tend to make spontaneous decisions and don’t need a lot of facts.

Well that wraps up my limited knowledge on the subject matter. I hope this MLM training tool helps show you how vital each personality type is to a successful business team, and/or community. For more information on the subject; go visit your local library or Google it.

That’s my two cents. Your comments are always encouraged and welcome.

To your phenomenal success.

'MLM Training Tools for Network Marketers With Attitude' is an article on the extreme importance of one's positive mental attitude. Without it, we don't stand a chance of succeeding in any area of our lives.

When I was a little kid in the first and second grade, my aunt had these circular steps in her backyard. Whenever we would go to her house I would pretend I was Fred Astaire or Sammy Davis and make up these little song and dance routines while going up and down the stairs. I was one of the lucky nerds that new at a very early age that being a performer was something I was destined to become. Even then I felt that I was preparing for an extraordinary life. I somehow knew by the very young age of twelve, how powerful the mind was in determining our life paths. So even before I could drive, I had the mindset that I was going to have an adventurous, successful life; filled with joy, music, laughter and love. (The sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll amendment was proposed later during my college years. LOL)

Sometimes in life, we can get so bummed out when things don’t work out like we planed. Financially, times are tight for so many people all around the globe; and the pressure to provide, can often push people into a feeling of hopelessness and despair. It doesn’t take long for some to instantly start saying things to themselves like: ”Nothing good ever happens to me. I’m never going to find a job that pays what I want. I’m always gonna be poor, or fat, or unemployed, or a loser. Life sucks.” etc. Be careful what you’re putting out there. Your mental attitude is everything.

“Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.” Thomas Jefferson

Thomas nailed that, didn’t he? How I wish I could have come up with that great line. It’s so perfectly true, and the exact point I want to make.

Now I’ll be the first to admit that I am by no means always blissfully happy without a single problem in the world. Like everyone, I too have surprise pop obstacle tests. I do try my best to stay mentally prepared for any surprise that may come my way. Yet even on those rare occasions where a moment of doubt or negativity arrives, we still have to try to learn and grow from that experience.

The lesson learned may or may not make sense right away. Sometimes the lesson is revealed weeks later when we least expect it. Also, by all means, try to learn from other people’s mistakes whenever you can. That makes it so much easier and faster when you learn your lessons by observing others. Karma approved cheating, without the guilt.

You must believe in your own power. The power that is in ever single one of us, whether realized or not. Stay focused on maintaining and strengthening your mental attitude. Accept that the journey may have some bends and twist that we won’t see coming; but never lose faith that the journey is taking us exactly where we’re supposed to be at that moment in time.

I want to leave you with one more great quote. This one from Theodore T. Hunger, that illustrates my point so perfectly.

“Keep steadily before you the fact that all true success depends at last upon yourself.” Read that line again. It is the KEY.

There is no doubt that the universe has more than enough to go around.

Dream in high definition. Live your dream.

That’s my two cents.

To your phenomenal success.

Finding time in our hectic days to vacation may seem like an impossible task for some. Whether you're vacationing in a tropical paradise or from the comforts of your own home; a vacation or retreat can do wonders for your mind, body and soul.

Ok, I have to admit I’m on vacation in Hawaii right now and not really in the most productive state of mind; but wanted to post a little something on the importance of taking some time to unwind to help rejuvenate both your mind and body. Even if it’s not an elaborate excursion, it’s still just as therapeutic to take some time to unwind and smell the roses.

Some people enjoy having a plethora of vacation activities to occupy their time from sunrise to sunset. On the other hand, some like to do absolutely nothing but sit by the pool or ocean with a book in one hand and a mai tai in the other. Personally I prefer a pina colada or margarita.

A word of caution for those of you who like to have vacations jam packed with activities. Just remember that the point of your vacation is to come back with a new and improved disposition. If you’re already exhausted after your first week back to work, you may find yourself in an even worse disposition than when you started.

Vacationing on a budget can be just as sweet. Sometimes just having a nice lunch or dinner in your favorite park with your loved ones, or even by yourself can instantly and dramatically reduce the level of stress that we all endure on some level on a daily basis.

Some of you may not think of exercising as a relaxing activity on a vacation, but it does wonders for the mind and body. Even if spending hours at the gym is not your cup of tea; a brisk twenty minute walk around the block can really do wonders. The exercise will really help you have a more peaceful and sound sleep; which in turn will help you to be more focused during your working hours. Allowing you to become even more productive.

Well as always, that’s my two cents. I wish you all phenomenal success.

Maholo (Thank you, gratitude, praise, regards, respect)

Adding Another MLM Training Tool to Your Arsenal Photo" alt="Keyword Research. Adding Another MLM Training Tool to Your Arsenal" />

Those looking to generate massive amounts of free traffic from Google to their website, blog, or video post, must know a thing or two about keyword research. As always, the more you know, the better your chances of survival. Having this knowledge will greatly improve and accelerate your level of success.

I want to be completely honest here; I am by no means an expert on this subject. My intention is to introduce the concept of keyword research to some of you and encourage you to do your homework. Take some time to come up with your own titles and articles/transcripts packed with your keywords that you’ve researched. If people aren’t searching for the keywords you’re using, then you’re missing the boat. Most importantly you want your keywords to have relevance to what it is you’re selling or offering.

It’s been proven that 90% of people never go beyond the first page when doing a search on Google. In fact the first position gets 40% of the traffic, second position gets only around 11% and continuously drops dramatically. Ideally you’re going to want to have your website, blog, article, or video listed on the first page and eventually in the number one position of whatever keyword or keyword phrase your trying to dominate.

It’s a delicate balance trying to find a keyword that generates traffic, and at the same time is not too competitive. When you’re first starting out in network marketing, you may want to steer clear of highly competitive keywords until you have established your backlinks and have enough content out there to compete for page one or two rankings.

To start your search on possible keywords, type in the Google search box: keyword tool. Your first result (not in the highlighted box) should be the (google dot com/sktool) . Type you generic keywords into the box for “words or phrases”, (you don’t have to put your website address in the top box).

Make sure to separate your keywords or keyword phrases with commas or type one per line, then click the “find keywords” button. You will then see a extensive list of keywords that match, along with estimated number of monthly searches each keyword receives. There is also a graph that shows the level of competition (at least in pertaining to pay per click; which is what the dollar amounts represent.) Don’t worry about the PPC aspect just yet. We’ll worry about that at a much later time.

There are off-site and on-site factors that will determine where you and your competitors are ranked. Google gives more weight to domains that are older. When checking out your competition, here are some offsite things to consider: domain age, page rank, backlinks to page, backlinks to domain, backlinks from .edu or .gov, DMOZ listing, yahoo listing. Be aware also of their on-site factors like: the number of pages, is their keyword in the title, keyword in url, keyword in description, keyword in heading, and cache age. To check the cache age, click on the cached button, and it will lead to a snapshot of the last time Google checked on the site. If Google likes the site it will probably take a snapshot every few days, versus every few months for a site it doesn’t really have any interest in yet.

After doing your keyword research, try to pick keywords that have commercial value. Something that people are looking for in order to make a purchase. If you can, try to help yourself out by picking a keyword phrase where you competition Doesn’t have every single one of the factors mentioned above.

For any word or phrase that you’re not sure of, just Google it. With the help of sites like Google and Youtube, there really is a vast amount of information at your fingertips.

Well I hope that helps put you the right direction. Good luck with your keyword selecting process.
That’s my two cents. As always, I wish you all phenomenal success.

As network marketers we are constantly looking to increase our list of leads. The more high quality leads we have the opportunity to connect with, the better our chances of one day being able to either monetize or work with them on our teams. One great way of getting your message out to even more people at one time, without spending a great deal of money, is by using a list building service.

Imagine being able to send out a letter or solo ad to three thousand people or more, every three days. Just think what that kind of exposure could do for your business, as you continue to brand yourself as a leader. Well that’s what these sites can do for you and your career when done consistently. List building sites are extremely effective once you’ve perfected your ad copy.

Having great copywriting skills is a major advantage in all forms of advertising. If you don’t have any writing skills yet, I would advise you to study other successful copywriters and learn by their great example. Of course knowing a thing or two about human psychology sure couldn’t hurt either.

Here are some guidelines that might help you with you copywriting:

Very important to know your target market

Have your own specific niche or angle

Review your samples of great ads that you’ve copied

When writing your headlines, make sure to describe your primary benefit

List your benefit bullets

Create a killer offer

If you can remember to also remain as genuine as possible while still positioning yourself as a leader, you will be doing a great service for yourself and business. Be able to back up your claims with some specific details or proof. Remember we always want to avoid blatantly hitting people over the head with our sales pitches. You must learn to camouflage them within the valuable MLM training tools that you’re providing.

There are many list builder sites out there to choose from; though personally I only have experience with ViralUrl and recommend it highly. If you decide to go with the ViralUrl be aware that there is a ONE TIME OFFER for new members to upgrade their accounts, which then allows you to send out emails or solo ads to three thousand or upgrade to the elite level like I have, and submit to six thousand of the members signed up with ViralUrl every three days. Six thousand emails or solo ads sent out to people who have already signed up for this service. These people are already seeking MLM opportunities. They are looking for something that works; and that’s where you come in by providing them the MLM training tools to explode their MLM business. (ViralUrl also includes a free link cloaking service)

When you upgrade to the gold or elite levels, you are not required to receive any emails from other members, like those who only get the free membership. Some even have two elite accounts which then allows them to send to twelve thousand members every three days. If you do get a free account, you will probably want to set up a separate email address where you can send all those hundreds of email without cluttering up your main email inbox.

List builder sites when used properly can provide you with a steady stream of leads every single day. Of course practice makes perfect.

That’s my two cents. As always, I wish you all phenomenal success!

I know the list of things to do may already seem overwhelming for some of you starting your network marketing careers, but keep in mind that nobody said it would be easy. Well, they may have said it, but they were lying. Success won’t happen overnight; though it does come faster to some than others. It behooves you to have as many MLM training tools in your arsenal as possible. Blogging is great way for you to provide your leads with valuable mlm advice and help establish yourself as a leader. Depending on your style of writing, your leads can also learn more about you, and see how your mind works. This helps to build their trust in you.

MLM, network marketing, online marketing, direct sales, home base business, whatever you call it; it’s still the business of selling YOU. If you’re unable to make any connection with your leads, your chances of them wanting to purchase what you’re offering, are going to be greatly reduced.

Keep in mind that no one is expecting you to utilize every single marketing tactic that exist; I’m just sharing one of the many marketing strategies that can bring in dozens of high quality leads over time, and greatly improve your search engine optimization. And of course you can’t beat the price. ” Free” has such a nice ring to it.

Even though you’re not charging an admission to your blog, you still want to avoid any blatant sales pitch. That’s always an immediate turn off. Give value away for free. Just give it away with the hope that it will help someone else.

Blogs are great for sharing your valuable expertise with anyone who reads them . Each post or article written, you are giving back. You will still need to have a real conversation with your leads in order to develop any lasting relationship. Eventually their level of trust and gratitude will be at a place where you can now offer something to them that would require them to spend some amount of money.

People will purchase from you when they trust you; and eventually, when what you’re offering is the solution to what they are looking for, they will come to you first .

Blogs are also a great place for your teammates to connect with each other. A team that enjoys each other’s company and supports each other, is the kind of team that has the highest retention rate. With the right team, all the hard work is much more fun and financially rewarding.

Blogs have so many great uses. Since they each reflect the writer, no two are exactly the same. Use your blog to create excitement about any event, product or service. Just remember to do it without sounding like a pushy salesperson.

That’s my two cents.

I wish you great success.

Solo ads somewhat remind me of those old movie cliches; with the plain girl sitting all alone on the side of the dance floor just waiting for someone to ask her to dance. Then when someone finally does, she removes her outdated glasses and sweater. Takes down her ponytail, and what do you know, she’s a total babe. Yep, just like a solo ad. Perhaps not the most popular marketing tool, but when done properly with great copywriting, it can instantly attract dozens of quality leads with just one look. Depending on the size of the subscriber list and budget, you can expect to pay anywhere from five dollars to four thousand dollars.

The key to success with solo ads is in the copywriting. Be creative. Write as if you’re talking to a friend. Know your target market, and find your own unique angle. Think like a successful salesperson. People great in sales have the ability to gently persuade people into a particular action or opinion. As with every aspect of your business, you can learn from others who are more successful.

When writing your copy, you want to be specific. Instead of an ad that reads, “I can show you how to get cupcakes” you should try something more precise like: “I can show you how to acquire 20 mouthwatering cupcakes a day on autopilot.” Whatever product or service that you’re offering, your ad will attract more when specific.

Your ad should (in most cases) sound like it’s coming from an expert in the field. This doesn’t mean that you should try to be someone that you’re not. Just remember that you have something that your customers already want, (whether they know it or not). You don’t need a blatant sales pitch. These people have deliberately put their names on these ezine list. They have already taken the first step to acquire what it is that you have to offer. You simply want to let as many people as possible know that you can provide them with the product or service that they need.

With ezines or solo ads you’re pretty much renting someone’s list. The size of the list is not as important as the open rate. You want to know that your money won’t be wasted on an ad that no one will ever see. People who subscribe to ezines tend to have a secure connection with them, and therefore will be more inclined to take notice and pay attention to your ad.

When you write your headlines you should first explain what great service you are providing and close with how this service/product will benefit them and/or their business. Once you do decide to start your solo ad campaign, set your budget and be consistent. Whether it’s once a week or every other week, stick to your schedule. Stay on top of your tracking so you can see which of you ads is converting the best with sites like hypertracker.

Remember Rome wasn’t built in a day. Do your research, be patient, yet diligent until you reach your goals. Your solo ads will end up bringing in a steady supply of highly qualified leads.

That’s my two cents. I wish you great success.

A Few Things to Consider Before Taking the Plunge Photo" alt="Pros and Cons of Pay Per Click Advertising. A Few Things to Consider Before Taking the Plunge" />

One of the advertising techniques that I found very exciting when I first heard about it, was PPC (pay per click). The idea of being able to have my personal add campaigns showing up on computer screens all around the world instantly was very exciting. It seems to be the number one strategy that most of the network marketing gurus are using. However, if you’re just starting out, you better be prepared to spend some serious time, energy, and buckets of your hard earned gold and silver plated coins.

Pay per click is not something that most people will be able to just jump into and immediately see the results that the top MLM stars are generating. You should make the commitment of three to six months just to learn the ropes. Though the education process is on going. There will always be tweaks and adjustments that you will need to be on top of, if you want to achieve great success.

There are some who have jumped into PPC before really being ready to go there. It’s not enough to have all you great ad campaigns set up and running properly if your lead and capture pages aren’t converting. Nothing worse than spending thousands of dollars in one month only to see a small number of nibbles on the other end . This happens often; and guess what? Google Adwords is not going to give you any refund after you’ve spent your last dime on advertising. It loves to take your money. They have it set up in such a way that makes it ever so easy to just keep adding more and more money into your PPC funds from your bank account or credit card. Before you know it, you’ve spent over five thousand dollars on your PPC funds in the course of one month. That’s money you’re not going to get back. Though if you’re one of those trust fund babies with unlimited funds, that may not be as big a deal to you. In which case, we should totally hang out!

Whenever you’re ready to jump into the PPC world, there are a couple of sources you need to be aware of: Perry Marshall’s ebook, ‘The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords’ is considered by many to be the bible of Pay Per Click advertising. Another great resource is found in Google Adwords Learning Center. (type Google Adwords Learning Center into your search engine). You’re also going to want to acquire as much information on keyword research as possible, as that may make or brake your MLM career.

When you’re ready to tackle on the complexities of PPC, just know that you have a responsibility to do your homework or you will definitely loose a great deal of money. Know that you, and you alone are responsible for your own education. After you’ve done your research and training, PPC advertising may reward you with more high quality leads than you’ll know what to do with. Though I would suggest before spending that much time and money, you better have a clear idea of what to do with all the leads that will be coming your way. Do your homework.

That’s my two cents. I wish you all great success.

I don’t know about you, but there have been countless days where I have received so many darn emails that I wanted to just recklessly delete them all with a push of a button. Is it just me? It was most definitely time for me to get rid of some of the extra baggage that had been occupying my hectic schedule. Even after getting my Spring cleaning done, it still wasn’t enough. I needed to clean out my electronic clutter as well.

Network Marketers are continuously bombarded with one earth shattering opportunity after another, and sometimes it can all start to be a bit overwhelming. I’m certainly not saying that’s all bad; it’s great to be part of a community. However, for me personally, I needed to have them toned down a bit. Even after the “junk mail” had been eliminated, I was spending more time than I wanted just getting through them all.

Clearing away distractions are always a good thing. That doesn’t always mean the big obvious ones like keeping your home and office space clean and organized, or leaving the TV off, (that’s a big one for a TV actor). It also means eliminating the non momentous activities that distract us from our highest priorities.

As a young kid in college I realized the importance of distancing myself from people and activities that were a deterrence from the life and goals I set for myself. By doing so, I have been able to always have room in my life to continuously receive valuable learning experiences. Well, this Spring I needed to clean up, and weed out some of the electronic mail and other distractions that have been taking over. This has allowed me to become more productive and joyful.

As your business evolves and grows, you may also need to rethink a few of your business priorities. Generating and building relationships with your leads should be at the top of the list. For me, wasting several hours each week weeding through the piles of electronic rubbish is no longer acceptable. The Spring is a perfect time for eliminating what no longer fits. Clearing room for something better to blossom in it’s place.

Well that’s my two cents. It’s not gold or silver plated, but there you have it nonetheless.

To your phenomenal success.

The other day I’m having this conversation with one of my best friends regarding some home being repaired on one of those do it yourself repair shows. The amount of time we wasted texting back and forth our lame conversation made me so frustrated. If only there was a way I could communicate with her using my voice, instead of typing each tiny little letter on my itty bitty cell phone. Ugh! Why do we do that? We can’t even talk to our best friends anymore? When did that happen?
Now, don’t get me wrong, there are times when you don’t have time to talk. If you’re in a situation where talking is inappropriate, then texting is awesome. So it got me to thinking; if people are having a hard time picking up the phone and talking to their friends, imagine the difficulty beginning network marketers are having making those very important phone calls to their leads.

You must have a real conversation on a phone with your quality leads, so you’ll be able to find out what they need in order to achieve the success they desire. You never want to get on the phone and just start pitching your own business. Remembering that this is all about branding yourself as a leader. There’s such an overwhelming amount of people constantly trying to sell them something. When you call to simply see if you can be of service, you will gain the respect and adoration necessary to begin a business relationship. A bond in which you’ll one day be able to monetize; though the main goal is to really be of service.

Once you take away the anxiety of trying to sell something to your leads, it can really just be about getting to know what you can do to help them succeed. Keep in mind that this doesn’t have to be some long drawn out conversation. You should keep it around five to ten minutes. You’re a busy successful business owner with many things on your agenda, you don’t have time to talk longer.

Whether you’re marketing online or offline, you still need to pick up the phone in order to start making your lasting connections with your quality leads. It also doesn’t hurt to use their name several times throughout the conversation. It turns out, people like hearing their name. (say my name, say my name…)

Well that’s my two cents. To your phenomenal success.

Network Marketers and Actors often truly amaze me. Unfortunately, not always in a good way. In both fields you have people with absolutely no training who think that all their dreams will come true without doing any of the hard work or sacrifice. It happens all the time. Though it’s true there’s no particular class or school that one can attend that will ensure success; it’s still the best bet to acquire as much knowledge as possible in order to maintain a competitive edge.

Training is the key to success, in so many areas of our life. My success as an professional actor, singer and network marketing have all been made possible by my thirst for knowledge and surrounding myself with friends, professors and mentors that were brilliant and successful.

Had absolutely no clue what I was doing when I first became interested in network marketing, but knew enough about surfing the internet to find some valuable training. One of the first things I learned, was that in order to have success in MLM we must maintain a steady stream of leads. Find the lead generating tool that works best for you: pay per click, article marketing, blogs, ezines, banners, social networking, etc.

It use to take months or even years before some started to make any profits. Now with the great training that’s available, you can learn how to profit from the 95% that say no to your primary opportunity through your affiliate commissions. As you brand and position yourself as a leader you will start to see an autopilot cash flow. You must have your own web site, not a replicated company web page, if you want to start establishing yourself as an entrepreneur. A personal page to send all our leads through your sales funnel.

In addition to your own web site, you’re going to need your own auto responder, so that you’re able to maintain possession of all of your leads. That way, even if you switch companies you still get to keep all those valuable contacts you’ve acquired over the years.

Once you start promoting yourself as a entrepreneur, make sure you are always giving exceptional value. Not just a consultant or salesperson trying to make a buck off your next victim. As your list increases, continue to build a relationship with them before you try to monetize them. So many people try to do that backwards. Monetize you list only after you have built a strong relationship with them.

Good news: Anyone can be an actor or network marketer. Bad news: Anyone can be an actor or network marketer.
In fields where the competition is enormous, you have the best chance of reaching your goals if you’re giving your target audience something that they want and need. Once they realize that you always deliver the goods, they will follow you wherever you go. From project to project.

That’s my two cents. I wish you all great success.

Photo" alt="Surviving the Trials and Tribulations of Network Marketing, and Coming Out On Top." />

Perhaps it’s not the first thing you want to hear when you’re just starting out in your MLM business, but nonetheless it is something you need to be aware of. Just as there are ups and downs in life, there will of course be test we must overcome in our network marketing careers. Often it’s the part of the puzzle that your up-line somehow neglects to mention when presenting you with the product/opportunity that will change your life. That’s not their fault. You can’t really blame them. When you’re on your first date, you don’t want to start listing all your negative qualities. Unless your date is with a total loser and you really want to ensure that no way and no how will there be a second. Enough about my sad dating experiences.

Network Marketing isn’t brain surgery, but it does require learning skills and techniques that will ensure success. One of those skills is handling rejection. Many of us are so excited when we start our new opportunity, that we think everyone is going to be as excited as we are. When that doesn’t turn out to be the case right off the bat, many can begin to treat the “no” as a personal failure. It’s hard not to feel anxious sometimes. You have a great product that you know can really improve the quality of everyone’s life, but they just aren’t getting it. Many won’t even take the time to check it out; and don’t be upset when the friend that you thought would be your first sale/down-line shows absolutely no interest. Some will even try to put down the opportunity and try to squash your dreams. It may even be a spouse or relative. Just know that you’re not the first and certainly not the last to receive this less than supportive response.

Absolutely anyone can get into network marketing. That’s the good, the bad, and the ugly truth. One way to weed out the bad and ugly marketers (they don’t read do they?) is to just stay focused throughout all the negativity that may come your way. If a few or several “no”s can make you give up on your dream of financial success, then maybe you’re not cut out for network marketing. I don’t mean that in any callus way; it’s just that this business is all about sharing your opportunity with as many people as you can; so if you can only stay enthusiastic if everyone is saying “yes”, then you’re setting yourself up for failure.

As with any business there is some overhead cost you must take into account. Don’t be surprised when you find yourself spending more money than you’re making in the beginning. That’s to be expected to some degree. You don’t want to quit you job and mortgage your house so you can take a chance on a pre-launch MLM opportunity, (that’s scary). However, as with any new or old business, there are going to be some expenses you simply can’t avoid. Do you have any idea how much it cost to open a McDonalds franchise? Or a Starbucks? MLM start up costs are but a fraction of what the fast food entrepreneurs are spending. Fortunately, our success can elevate just as high if we’re willing to put in the hours it takes.

When I was in high school (just a few years ago – give or take a decade or two) we used to love to pick out all the green M&Ms. Don’t ask why. It’s just something that we did. Doesn’t mean we threw all the others ones away, we still enjoyed them, but we were on a mission to find green ones. You already know where I’m going with this don’t you? If we can stay focused, continuously learn, give great value and enjoy the journey, we will eventually attract all the green MLMs we could ever desire.

Well that’s my two cents. If you would like to find out more about the pros and avoiding the cons of Network Marketing, plus many other MLM training tools; sign your name and email address on the opt in form.

If you are an unemployed mom, dad, or single adult you know all too well of the difficulties finding work in the traditional corporate world. MLM opportunities have come a long way. Read this article to find out what others in your situation are doing right now to create successful careers, while working from their homes.

Well Papas Got a Brand New Bag of MLM Opportunities. Photo" alt="Unemployment Blues? Well Papas Got a Brand New Bag of MLM Opportunities." />

With unemployment at an unfortunate high, many men and women are frustrated with their depleted list of prospects. Often overlooking the most obvious solution staring them right in the face. If you’re having an impossibly difficult time finding employment in the corporate world, it’s time to stop and rethink your options. Since you’re at your home anyway, find an opportunity that excites you, in which you can produce an income without ever leaving your house.

Network marketing opportunities are most definitely worthy of a thorough investigation. Whether you’re looking for a part-time, full-time, or even just something to do in between jobs. When you stop to consider the countless companies, products, and opportunities there are to choose from, you’re sure to find something that will inspire you to succeed. A career where you can enjoy the freedom of being your own boss and deciding when you want to work. The level of your success rest solely on you, and the sky’s the limit. Let me be clear. There is no such thing as a get rich overnight plan, though many will try to get you to believe otherwise.

Do your own research before deciding which opportunity is right for you. If you just do an online search for “network marketing jobs”, or “home base business opportunities”, you will find a very long and diverse list of results. You’re going to want to work with only the most reputable businesses, colleagues and mentors . You must ask yourself, if the opportunity or product is something you would be proud to share with your most cherished relatives or loved ones. Assuming of course that you don’t come from a loving family of con artist.

Don’t be afraid to think outside the box. Let’s face it, the flimsy box is overstuffed and falling apart. You don’t want to be a part of that. I know there are a lot of people who are stubborn and think that because they served their time with one career for so many years, that they are entitled to another career at the same pay scale or higher, and anything else would be beneath them somehow. How many weeks, months or even years are you willing to hold out, refusing to even acknowledge the fact that it might indeed be time to check out other options? In some cases it’s way past time don’t you think? “now I’m not saying she’s/he’s a gold digger…”

Many stay at home mothers and fathers who are raising young children, are finding that network marketing opportunities are providing them with enough income to completely abandon their previous career goals. After learning the ropes, they were able to create even greater incomes than they imagined, while getting to spend precious time with their loved ones. My heart goes out to all the parents who are commuting over three hours a day to get to their jobs. Loosing over fifteen hours a week, stuck behind the wheel when they could be spending it with their loved ones. Sometimes that’s what it takes to be a provider. However, since it appears that those opportunities have all but dried up and cease to exist, now is your chance to allow your imagination to cut loose and sore again. You don’t have to be in a desperate rush to return to your old unhappy way of life. Embrace the possibilities, of which there are many.

Network marketing, or multi level marketing (MLM) is a real business you do from your home. It’s not something you will succeed in if all you want to do is sit back and watch television all day. Believe me, I’ve tried. It doesn’t work. Nothing from nothing still leaves nothing. It’s all on you my friend. This is your business, so treat it as such. Get as much MLM training tools as you can find, and enjoy the journey. Don’t be afraid, or too proud to ask for help. This is one huge community. Join MLM groups on the various social networking sites to meet other marketers and get advice and ideas. Get involved with your up-line, once you decide on the product or opportunity that is right for you.

Most of all stay positive and have fun with the whole process.
“Success is the good fortune that comes from aspiration, desperation, perspiration and inspiration.” Evan Esar

Well, that’s my two cents. As always, I wish you all great success.

Twenty four hours in a day, just as always; yet it seems as though there’s never enough time to even come close to accomplishing everything you planed. Even with all of our exceptional technical gadgets, (and they are truly cool) we still find ourselves only completing a fraction of what we had set out to do that day. My complete respect to those who are able to stay focused enough to accomplish their daily goals with young children in the house. Just taking care of kids by itself can be exhausting; add to that the daunting task of starting and maintaining your own businesses is really quite an accomplishment. Kudos to you. I’m single with no children and there are times when I too feel like I could use a few more hours in the day. Though I have no excuse. There are however, some very simple and free strategies that successful people adhere to, that allows them to stay focused and goal oriented.

I know for fact that my personal productivity level is at a maximum as long as my place is neat and organized. Though isn’t it amazing how fast a place can go from looking perfectly neat and tidy to embarrassingly messy and cluttered? If we remove the clutter from our offices, closets, homes, and cars, we will be rewarded with a clearer and sharper mind and spirit; thus allowing us the energy to get more accomplished. Not only that, but you just feel so much better about yourself and your surroundings. It’s also a great aid in loosing weight. If we can free ourselves from all the clutter, it’s really a win win. And yes, I did say cars. I know there are a lot of you out there with some very messy cars. Now don’t think that people haven’t noticed or commented about your situation. Now I’m not referring to those with small children and mini-vans. I would imagine it’s pretty close to impossible to keep those clean. However, those who are using their cars as a trash can / dirty laundry hamper on wheels, and then putting their business and future business colleagues into the front seat with all those germs enclosed around them are really doing themselves a disservice. Your leasing that brand new car to give the impression that you have more money than you really do, and then you leave junk and trash all over the seats and floors. What a waste. In my humble opinion. (was that harsh?)

Now that your place is all organized you can finally find your calendar which is another great tool for staying on target. When you set up a calendar for your day, week or month you’re really setting yourself up for success. Even with the over abundance of technology, sometimes just simply writing down your list of things to tackle in an allotment of time will really help you to stay focused and extremely productive. Those of you with children who are very busy with extra curricular activities really know about the necessity of a wall calendar. Your business deserves the same attention. Set up your activities for the day and stick to it. That way you won’t be so distracted with the flirtation of procrastination. Believe me, I know all too well how seductive procrastination can be. We had a pretty serious thing going for years.

One activity that we must make sure to schedule into our daily calendar is exercise. Now hold on, I hear the moans from some of you. I’m a firm believer in doing what feels good. The key to being successful with exercise is actually finding something that you enjoy. If you hate gyms, then try dancing, or roller-blading, yoga, fencing, or simply taking a ten minute walk will do wonders for your health (mind and body). Find something that really brings you joy. Experiment with different routes or exercises to mix it up a bit if you like. Especially for those of us who spend a lot of time sitting at a desk or computer. Getting out into the fresh air and moving the body is really invigorating. Regardless of how much you have to talk yourself into doing it, you always feel so much better after you’ve finished. For me, it’s an absolute necessity to have music playing while working out. One of my careers is that of a professional vocalist and violinist. Music is a huge part of my life; even now I have Chris Boti playing in the background. Find out what works for you at that particular moment in time.

Obviously, these are just a few of the many ideas used to insure a successful home and/or business. I know these strategies are extremely simple really, but I also know these small steps can lead to some real giant leaps and bounds to any business career.

Well, that’s my two cents for the day. As always, feel free to post your comments or reactions.

I would like to share with you some ideas which might help you to capitalize on your social networking sites without embarrassing yourself. I mean sure, we all at one time or another will have things we will post that are business related; but as with all social situations, there is a time and a place.

When you first meet someone you don’t then proceed to try and kiss them passionately on the lips. It’s just so wrong on so many levels. It’s completely rude and disgusting. Goes against all social etiquette. Unfortunately there is something many people are doing on their various social websites, that is just as offensive. (okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a little, but get the point) We’ve all been in that circumstance where you meet someone who seems like they’d be a really cool friend / colleague and you immediately “friend” them. Though the excitement of making a new connection is instantly ruined when your new friend, without any warning begins to throw up his or her latest business opportunity in your face.

You know the type. ”Hi, thanks for friending me. It looks like you’re also into network marketing. Did you know that right now I am a part of the most perfect company of all time. It’s a pre-launch, but it’s by far better than your crappy looser company. Sit back as I ramble on a bunch of stuff you have no desire to hear.” Ugh!!! Seriously?? Are you kidding? They know absolutely nothing about me, what I do, how I’m doing, and they’re just going on and on about some (usually lame) opportunity that I need to check out. Please cut it out. I’m just not that into you. Nobody is. I’m sorry, was that harsh? I feel it had to be said. Thank you for letting me get that off my chest.

Social Networking Sites are a great place to meet people, and broaden your network. A vehicle to let people know more about you on a personal level by sharing photos, videos, favorite links, music, books, movies, etc.

Blogging – Now days a blog is a “must have” for any top producing network marketer. More on this topic at a later date.
1. WordPress
2. Blogger
3. Movable Type

There are Social Marketing rules one must obey in order to avoid getting banned or thrown out of a group. Social Marketing websites are community based. It is very important to take part in the discussions, without ever blatantly hitting people over the head with your business opportunity. This should definitely never be done on a one on one basis. Think of it like this: if you walked into a party where you knew no one, and saw that everyone was laughing and having a great time, you wouldn’t suddenly stand up on a table and start screaming about your business opportunity at the top of your voice. People would think you were out of your mind. It’s not the kind of first impression that’s going to make people come running to you. Same rules of courtesy apply in a social networking site. Participate (without pitching) by adding value to the community. Be honest. Share ideas and concepts, and over time, build lasting relationships.

Two wonderful things about Social Media sites:
1. The more valuable content you contribute, the better your search engine placement.
2. They provide quality links to your website, which in turn increases your website rankings. And as a bonus you’re also meeting some amazing new friends and contacts.

Social Networking sites can be an enormous tool for generating an endless supply of quality leads, as long as you don’t screw it up. Remember, you’re trying to position yourself as a leader. Someone that has a great deal of VALUE to share with the group.

Well that’s my two cents. If you would like to learn more about networking on Social Marketing Sites, plus many other MLM training tools; sign your name and email address on the opt in form.
Ah the excitement of starting a new financial chapter. You’re all buzzed because you’ve joined a MLM Company that’s promising to make you all kinds of money. Your up-line has told you to make of list of all you friends and relatives, and get on the phone and share the amazing opportunity with everyone that will listen. So you get on the phone and get a hold of your favorite aunt, Betty.

“Hello Aunt Betty, it’s me Mark your nephew. I made you that ashtray made out of a shell back in the 4th grade. Remember? Anyway, I was so sorry to hear about you needing a hip replacement, I’m sure you’ll be back up on your feet in no time. Listen, I have a business opportunity I know you’re going to love. Hello? Are you still there Aunt Betty? Betty?”

That’s happened to me in some form or another a time or two. I knew that there had to be a better way for me to keep face with all my friends. I really didn’t want them to all start fearing my calls. Not that long ago, I knew absolutely nothing about MLM or network marketing. But I knew that there were endless opportunities with the internet, and was determined to find out how I could benefit from a more modern online approach to MLM.

I was introduced to a MLM company by a couple of good friends. Though they were having some success with their strictly old school off-line approach, it wasn’t the only thing I wanted to do. Though I love speaking with people and making a real connection, I wasn’t interested in becoming some pushy salesman bugging everyone around me with no desire to hear or buy what I was selling. What I needed was some real training. A system where I could go as fast or slow as my busy performing schedule would permit; while learning the valuable tools_for_MLM_Success.

Ask and it shall be given. I asked for some MLM training, and boy did I receive it. All in one place I was able to learn the principles of attraction marketing, how to set up my own personal web page, generate endless quality leads, how to generate tons of traffic, how to get the most out of my sales funnel, marketing training, social media marketing, keyword research, pay per click, SEO, video marketing, affiliate programs, oh my goodness the list seriously goes on and on. The system I use has so many training videos and recorded webinars that I haven’t even gotten around to viewing them all yet. They are constantly adding more and more value every week.

MLM opportunities are indeed endless. Though there are many wonderful companies out there, most of them will not walk you through step by step. In fact, over 90% of people end up quitting because they never receive the training necessary to explode their businesses. Many companies will hand you your products and send you on your way. Sink or swim.

Joining a MLM Company is indeed an exciting time, full of optimism and desire for success. However, we must also back up our enthusiasm with real training. We have to find which marketing strategies work best for us. It’s a never ending learning process, as new techniques are popping up every day. Though there’s plenty of pie for all of us, we must still be diligent about staying on top of the newest marketing trends.

If you have joined a MLM company and would like to have the tools shared with you that the

top earning producers are using, then sign you name and email address on the opt in form.

I wish you all great success.
